"Sunset Symphony" with the LPO
The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra will perform at a free outdoor concert on the Mandeville lakefront Saturday (Oct. 11). The Sunset Symphony on the Lake, staged by the city of Mandeville, will begin at 5 p.m. with a performance by the youth orchestra.
The event will take place on Lakeshore Drive between Coffee and Carroll streets. Guests are encouraged to bring food, drinks, and chairs, and picnic throughout the evening.
The youth orchestra will perform under the direction of Jean Montes. The LPO,, whose performance will begin at 6 p.m., will be under the direction of Raul Gomez.
