Hi MYSfits!

Congrats on your concert with Joe Kye. That was SUPER fun!

Now, we dive right into new repertoire as we prepare for our May concert with members of A Far Cry. Here's the program:

Vaughn Williams: Oboe Concerto, Mov 1

(Soloist: Ben Price)

Strings only accompaniment

Haydn: Concerto No. 1, Mov 1 (with cuts in tutti)

(Soloist: Ryan Babe)

Strings, 2 oboes, 2 horns

Mozart: Symphony No.29, K.201 (186a), A major <1774> Strings, 2 oboes, 2 horns

This coming Saturday (March 16), we will read as much of the Mozart Symphony as we can. I will bring hard copies of the parts.

Rehearsals and concert with members of A FAR CRY:

Friday, May 10: 7:00pm-9:30pm @ MYS office
Saturday, May 11: 1:00pm-3:00pm @ Roseway
Sunday, May 12 dress rehearsal: 10:00am-12:30pm @ MYS office
Sunday, May 12 concert: right after dress rehearsal at MYS office, we all drive to The Old Church. There will be time for lunch before a 1:30pm soundcheck and the 2:30pm performance.
