Sinfonietta Notes (Oct 14)

MYS Concert Orchestra conductor Jeff Peyton will come work with you on Saturday, since I need to lead the MYSfits rehearsal this week. He will be focusing on Bacchanale, but he might choose to do a little Bernstein as well.

Be prepared!!! Slow practice (with metronome) is vital for this piece. Start slow and get progressively faster. Brass: focus on individual intonation and pitch this week. Slow tones!!! Use a tuner (there are free apps for smartphones).

I'll bring a new piece the following week (Oct 21).
