MYS S.O. Rehearsal Notes - 10/29/19

Hi everybody,

Our next rehearsal (Saturday, November 2) is only 8 days before our concert!! So, this is the homestretch, and this is where we bring our focus to the max.

Be a good team player and PRACTICE!!

Rehearsal plan for Saturday, November 2

9:30am-11:00am:

Tutti: Beethoven, movement 2 (and runs of 1, 3 and 4 if time allows)

11:15am-11:45am: Tower
11:45am-12:30pm: Kaminski

Star Spangled Banner (cellos & horns)

Cellists: for those of you who rehearsed the Star Spangled Banner on Oct 19, we will be recording several takes of our video audition this Saturday at 12:30pm. Wear normal clothes (look nice), but in addition to your normal clothes, bring Blazers or Timbers jerseys/accessories if you have them.

Horns: don't forget you're supposed to tell me when you are all available to record your audition.

Everybody else: stay tuned for opportunities for other instruments and ensembles to record a video audition.
